First light kit
I'm in love with these lights. They make every Lego set and every MOC look so much better, so much more realistic and they give endless opportunities for cool lighting ideas (some examples in the photos).
At first I feared they might break after a few uses but so far I used the lights in several different studs and squeezed them between blocks and nothing broke.
I even wiped my attached powerbank from the table, twice, and nothing broke! Only a plug got unplugged and the second time a plug got a bit deformed but was easily to be bend back into its original state and is still working.
Even after hours of running, the LEDs only got the slightest bit of warm.
To the selection of parts: I LOVE the small lights that fit under studs. Having six of them at once feels very generous. The big lamps are great for ceiling lamps, for easy lighting of rooms and can be easily attached to the undersides of plates with the help of the included tethers.
What I wished I knew before buying: the big lamps and the power cable have "power plugs". So they are compatible to each other and to the plug board. Meanwhile the small lights have different plugs that only fit into the plug board. With this kit it gives several different layouts to plug the lights into but since I additionally bought a flux twin plate I wished I recognised sooner that I would need an additional plug board to have the small lamps before AND after the flux plates (which have the "power plugs" too).
The wires indeed fit…
