LMB 1.0 vs. LMB 2.0

Firstly I have to mention that I absolutely enjoy building with

LMB, definitely the best LED light kits for Lego available. I have started with LMB 1.0 and now building the first with LMB 2.0 I am very please about the improvements - absolutely amazing. However when comparing the LMB 1.0 and LMB 2.0 sets for the Police station I am missing a bit the detail - In the LMB 1.0 version there were separate lights for the cupboard in the donut shop, also the light at the rear entrance and the flashing red light at the roof for the antenna. So I am a bit disappointed that this was missed out on the newer LMB 2.0 set. I understand that it probably is to make the build easier but I would nevertheless prefer not to miss out details for the sake of an easier build.

I have to say, Light My Bricks is the best thing to happen to my city!

The police station modular was already an amazing set and the lights take it to another level. I bought two copies of this light kit because my police station is customized with extra floors added. I ended up using all the included lights from both. the results are amazing. The first floor was a bit challenging at first but nothing a lego fan cant handle. The "add lights after you build" instructing were straight forward and clear for the most part. I did run into one mistake in the instructions at step 123. it should be a AR-V30 (violet colored light) for the donut shop sign and the instructions call for a AR-WW30 (Warm White light). it was easy to identify this mistake and it is labeled correctly on the provided wire diagram from the front page. overall I'm very happy with this light kit and a small mistake in the instructions did not change my opinions.

It's a great product, good quality, and the small wires blend in nicely. Its crazy that they fit under the bricks! like anything lego, its not inexpensive but worth every penny to a true lego fan. I got this light kit on sale for Black Friday so that helped.

I wish I would have created a acount sooner because like the lego insiders program, the rewards add up fast. I will be ordering again and again until my whole city is full of lights!

LMB Various Sets both v1 lights and 2.0 Lights

I've been working on setting up my village in my lounge room. All sets are lit up using either v1 light kits, DYI components or 2.0 light kits.

The video attached is just stage 1 and I have another 4 stages to setup.

Some of the sets will probably be moved around, but the lights are amazing and really set the right tone for my lounge each night.
